He recently revealed he weighs 130kg.

And last year after vomiting live on air of his KIIS breakfast radio show, dietitians warned him that he was at an ‘absolute prime danger age’ for a heart attack.

But it looks as though shock-jock Kyle Sandilands is finally willing to turn it all around.

Changing it around? Kyle Sandilands looks to be undertaking a new diet after declining to eat at a recent lunch on Thursday as he is on a ‘substitute meal plan’

The 43-year-old veteran radio presenter enjoyed lunch in Sydney on Thursday with his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and fellow station drive hosts, Dave Hughes and Kate Langbroek.

According to Sydney Confidential Sandilands declined eating because he is on a substitute meal plan.

However, it appears he is not yet taking the diet too strictly as he was later seen sipping away on a thick shake.

New  team: Kyle dined in Double Bay with his co-host Jackie O and new additions to the KIIS network, drive hosts Dave Hughes and Kate Langbroek

Dining at one of Sandiland’s favourite Double Bay cafes, D’Bees, the respective breakfast and drive teams enjoyed each other’s company in what was their first public outing together since Hughes and Langbroek relocated from Melbourne to begin their afternoon show on KIIS this year.

It also is a sign that Sandilands and Hughes have finally buried the hatchet after years of ill will towards each other.

A stand up comedian by trade, Hughes, 44, famously called Sandilands ‘a ‘massive d**khead’ while hosting the Logies awards in 2007.

Top rating: The KIIS breakfast team were this week announced as the number one show in Sydney

While the jab was considered a joke, the Brisbane born presenter did not take the gag so lightly saying in an interview the next year about Hughes: ‘I hate him – the next time I see him I’m going to punch him in the throat.’

That is all in the past though as Sandilands spoke in a recent radio podcast revealing he had a hand in bringing Hughes and Langbroek’s show to Sydney.

Hughes said of the number one rated breakfast show after the lunch: ‘They’re a lot of fun’.
